Astreya Consultancy India invites an experienced OSP Engineer to lead design review, cut planning, and field support for large-scale telecom infrastructure projects in the US market. You will coordinate across design, construction, and operations teams to ensure smooth turn-ups.

You will perform advanced OTDR analysis, troubleshoot field issues, and mentor junior engineers while developing SOPs and best practices.

Formación

• 7+ years in OSP fiber operations or OSP engineering within data center or telecom infrastructure environments.
• Reading, interpreting and validating OSP designs, splice matrices, and construction drawings at a senior level.

Responsabilidades

• Design Review & Cut Planning: interpret OSP designs and prepare splice matrices, cut sheets and cut plans.
• Execution & Field Support: act as operations point of contact for field splicing and installation crews during turn-ups and migrations.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: validate field test results and lead troubleshooting during turn-up using OTDR, buildup loss budgets and fault localization.
• Case Audits & Records Integrity: review audit sheets and keep as-builts, splice documentation, and system records accurate.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: partner with design, construction, splicing vendors, network engineering and operations to deliver clean turn-ups.
• Technical Leadership: mentor junior engineers and drive standards and process improvement.
