Job summary

Astreya Partners, LLC is seeking an OSP Outside Plant Engineer to design, implement, and maintain fiber networks. You will manage OTDR testing, GIS-based fiber management, vendor relationships, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple concurrent projects.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on OTDR and GIS experience, strong project management, and the ability to lead teams while ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years field experience or related degree in telecommunications or IT.
• Strong OTDR testing and GIS-based fiber management knowledge.
• Experience coordinating vendors and multiple projects with dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Fiber administration to maintain and enhance the OSP fiber network.
• Analyze OTDR tests to ensure fiber integrity and performance.
• Use GIS-based systems for network planning and record updates.
• Coordinate vendors and cross-functional teams for timely deliverables.
• Lead multiple projects, track OKRs and dashboards.
• Review splice matrices and maintain data integrity across tools.
• Organize meetings, mentor team members, and ensure progress.
• Operate tools: FIM, ACC, Gaudi, Ultron, Glasswork; stay updated on new platforms.
