Techwave in Houston seeks an experienced OSP Engineering Design Project Manager to oversee all OSP engineering design programs from fiber overbuild to BAU work orders and ensure timely, on-budget delivery. The role requires hands-on leadership of cross-functional teams, proactive risk management, and reporting using KPIs.

You will coordinate schedules, procurement, and field data collection, while driving process improvements and client satisfaction.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of OSP engineering experience.
• Experience with large-scale turn-key programs.
• Strong knowledge of the listed client software systems (ARAMIS, BST-CAD, OSPCM, JMS (OPEDS), AOtX, AOTS, PLANET, CEEOT, MMT, PM Tool, EFACTS, MIC, LFACS, GRANITE and OCALC., ASEDb).
• Experience with fiber technologies: Overbuild/LightGig/ASE/ABF/CAAS/BAU.
• Understanding of Design and construction of Outside Plant Copper and Fiber Optic Cable (UG, Aerial, Buried, BIC) and manhole and conduit design.
• Knowledge of Fiber backbone (F1) and distribution networks (F2).
• Permitting processes knowledge (highway, railroad, city, county).
• Ability to upload/download and edit documents in Project Management software.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; Google Earth/Maps knowledge.
• Highly organized, self-starter, and detail oriented.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to work independently and in teams.
• PMI-based understanding of project life cycle and methodologies.
• Proficiency in financial principles and organizational systems.

Responsabilidades

• Oversight & review of all OSP Engineering Design packages.
• Utilize and provide to management meaningful KPI reports to aid project health.
• Enhance existing processes and introduce economies of repetition in execution of all scopes.
• Establish end-to-end workflow identifying turn-key touch points for customer engagements.
• Identify transition criteria and manage stakeholder touch points from work order receipt to invoice approval.
• Remove obstacles and empower operations resources.
• Monitor project progress, risk, quality and customer experience.
• Coordinate project activities including critical path, procurement, resource loading, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues and keep the client informed of delays.
• Lead efforts to gather all project status for program reporting.
• Implement continuous process improvements for efficient service delivery.
• Client interface for project status and issue resolution; report predetermined KPIs.
• Participate in weekly status calls with customer; track schedule variance and risk.
• Track change impact and delay impact; define and monitor critical path.
• Forecast resources to meet schedule and budget.
