Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced OSP Engineer to lead fiber optic network construction projects in Colorado, coordinating contractors and vendors from concept to completion.

You will design routes, develop engineering packages, review scopes and budgets, and ensure adherence to standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in OSP fiber construction, telecommunications, or network deployment.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic network infrastructure.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and construction activities.
• Knowledge of aerial and underground fiber deployment practices.
• Understanding of permitting, right-of-way, and construction processes.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.
• 3+ years of OSP engineering or fiber network design experience.
• Experience designing FTTH, FTTX, Metro, or Backbone Fiber networks.
• Knowledge of fiber routing, allocation, and splicing concepts.
• Understanding of aerial and underground network design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
