Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Senior Organizational Effectiveness Consultant to partner with leaders on diagnostics, design, and change management within our OE team. You will conduct interviews, focus groups, and working sessions to surface root causes and co-create practical solutions with program managers, engineering leaders, and HR partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience in organization development or related field.
• Experience consulting with leaders on organization and team effectiveness.
• Proven ability to conduct qualitative diagnostics and translate themes into actions.
• Strong facilitation skills to lead sessions for leaders and teams.
• Strong change management capabilities to guide transitions.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to HR Leaders, business leaders, and program managers on organization effectiveness and change leadership.
• Lead qualitative organization diagnostics (e.g., interviews, focus groups, assessments) to identify root causes and practical improvements.
• Design and facilitate sessions with leaders and teams to build trust, clarity, and effective ways of working.
• Support organization design by clarifying objectives, roles, spans and layers, decision rights, and governance; move from current to desired future state.
• Develop and execute change management approaches emphasizing leader engagement and ownership, including communications and toolkits.
• Prioritize OE efforts with HR and business leaders, aligning with sector and division strategies.
• Use data to supplement insights and strengthen recommendations without overcomplicating them.
• Create clear, compelling presentations and written materials that synthesize themes and actions for diverse audiences.
• Maintain knowledge of OE practices and adapt frameworks to AS context and engineering environments.
