Job summary

Gerdau North America is seeking a Sr Organizational Development Specialist to define the learning strategy for the US and Canada, align with the Global Center of Expertise, and support Field HR. This role acts as a process expert, monitors program effectiveness, and drives continuous improvement.

You will design solutions, coordinate vendor relationships, develop content, manage the LMS (SuccessFactors), and partner with Field HR to build hi‑performing teams for a Cyber Powered organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years HR or OD experience preferred.
• Ability to design and develop training programs.
• Digital mindset with ability to use data and tech-enabled work.
• Knowledge of L&D tools and trends.
• Facilitation skills.
• Office 365 proficiency.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems, preferably SuccessFactors, and authoring tools.
• Creativity and openness to change.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate learning process, governance, and ecosystem for North America.
• Analyze training needs and formulate development solutions.
• Support implementation of programs to develop and retain employees.
• Support engagement and culture initiatives and improve employee experience.
• Design and implement pipeline programs.
• Develop training content and supervise external suppliers.
• Manage training vendors, resources, systems, tools, and budget.
• Facilitate internal workshops and leadership training.
• Manage the Learning Management System - Success Factors for North America.
• Updates and maintains training catalogs, curricula’s, content, and training plans.
• Monitors and reports effectiveness of training and other OD programs.
