Job summary

Gerdau, based in Tampa, FL, seeks a Manager, Business Development and Sustainability to grow the North American market for GLN rail products. You will drive new business, assess opportunities, and negotiate contracts aligned with the Commercial strategy.

You will manage customer relations, plan pricing, forecast demand, and collaborate with metallurgists and mill teams to deliver growth and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business/admin fields required.
• MBA considered an asset and beneficial for strategy roles.
• 3–5 years of sales history with growth responsibilities.
• Background in metrics-driven environments preferred.
• Exposure to rail or steel industries is a plus.
• ERP experience or familiarity with costing and margins is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with all customer levels while promoting Gerdau products.
• Develop target companies and establish meetings to pursue opportunities.
• Lead RFQ/RFP responses and quote pricing for customers.
• Forecast demand and align with monthly planning and CSP processes.
• Coordinate with metallurgists, outside sales, and mill personnel as needed.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide regular call reports.
