Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a Senior Customer Service Specialist for its on-site Mahwah, NJ team. This role manages the full order lifecycle, processes orders in ERP, and supports customers across channels to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in customer service and order management, SAP experience, and strong Excel/Outlook/Word skills in a manufacturing or distribution setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in customer service and order management in inventory-based manufacturing or distribution.
• SAP experience with order entry, inventory management, or shipping.
• Experience with ERP systems including Navision or similar.
• Manufacturing/ distribution environment knowledge.
• High-volume order processing experience.
• EDI order processing experience.
• Strong Excel, Outlook, and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete customer order lifecycle from entry to shipment and billing.
• Process orders accurately using an ERP system.
• Prioritize and respond to customer emails and orders.
• Monitor orders daily and resolve issues affecting processing or shipping.
• Maintain routing guides and monitor customer scorecards.
• Handle orders from email, EDI, website, and sales channels.
• Provide customers with order status and coordinate with internal teams.
• Cross-train with other departments and document processes as needed.
