Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. Engineer – Oracle HCM Integrations to lead Oracle HCM and HR platform integrations. You will provide architecture leadership, oversee production support, and drive operational excellence across HR, payroll, and benefits.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Oracle HCM Cloud, OIC, HCM APIs, and related tools. Remote to start with eventual hybrid work as onsite in select locations; W2 compensation package offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise application engineering, HCM technology, or integrations experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, OIC, HCM APIs, and HDL/HSDL.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, SOAP web services, middleware and iPaaS platforms, SFTP and file transfers.
• Lead, Principal, or Staff-level engineering background with enterprise architecture and solution design experience.
• Production support, incident management, and root cause analysis expertise.
• SDLC proficiency including architecture, development, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, deployments, monitoring and observability, release management, Agile methodologies, and Jira backlog and sprint management.
• Preferred: large-scale Oracle HCM implementations or migrations, SOX-controlled environments and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, support, and optimization of Oracle HCM integrations.
• Serve as technical lead and escalation point for HCM-related integration issues.
• Architect and support integrations with payroll systems, benefits platforms, retirement providers, equity and stock administration systems, identity and access management platforms, and enterprise business systems.
• Provide architecture reviews, code reviews, testing oversight, deployment support, and production troubleshooting.
• Establish best practices for CI/CD, source control, monitoring, documentation, automated testing, and release management.
• Develop runbooks, cross-training plans, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Security, IT, and third-party vendors.
• Mentor engineers and promote consistent engineering standards and operational excellence.
• Support roadmap planning, vendor management, and delivery execution.
• Participate in Agile processes, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Jira reporting.
