Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Oracle Solution Architect to provide advisory and implementation services across client organizations within the Oracle Practice. You’ll work with the Transformation team to help clients move toward their vision with supported resources and guidance.

Your day-to-day includes leading full life cycle implementations, documenting requirements, configuring applications, training end users, and delivering time-sensitive projects while traveling up to 40% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience in a national cross-industry consulting practice.
• Minimum 4 full life cycle implementations of Oracle ERP or similar apps.
• Industry certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, metrics, and reports.
• Experience with integration & back-end data connectivity apps.
• Experience installing/configuring/implementing Oracle Apps.
• Exposure or training on Oracle Cloud Apps.
• Proven ability delivering complex, time-sensitive projects.
• Strong leadership; able to run meetings and write technical docs.
• Able to map current to future state processes based on business objectives.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, and build phases.
• Document business requirements, system design and transformational goals.
• Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing.
• Create training materials and quick reference guides for user adoption.
• Conduct training classes for deployment readiness.
• Provide post-production support.
• Engage in discovery of business requirements and process design.
• Identify business requirements and define future state processes.
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
• Participate in various implementation activities as needed.
