Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Oracle Solution Architect for the Transformation Practice. The role focuses on advisory and implementation services across client organizations, leveraging a hybrid work model and supporting client deployments.

Responsibilities include leading full lifecycle Oracle implementations, documenting requirements, configuring applications, and developing training materials. Travel up to 40% is expected as part of client engagements and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, IT, MIS, or related field; Master’s is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of related consulting experience at a national level.
• Minimum of 4 full life cycle Oracle implementations.
• Industry recognized professional certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, metrics and reports.
• Experience with application integration and back-end data connectivity apps.
• Experience installing/configuring/implementing Oracle Applications.
• Exposure or training on Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Proven ability delivering complex and time-sensitive projects.
• Strong leadership; able to conduct meetings and write technically oriented documents.
• Able to map current to future state processes based on business objectives.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, & build phases.
• Document business requirements, system design and transformational goals.
• Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing.
• Create training materials and quick reference guides to support user adoption.
• Conduct training classes to prepare end users for deployment.
• Provide post-production support.
• Participate in full life cycle implementations.
• Identify business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping and testing.
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
• Other duties as assigned.
