Job summary

SMX seeks an accomplished Oracle General Ledger Lead to drive the functional design, implementation, and success of Oracle E-Business Suite GL and related financial modules. You will analyze complex business needs, design a robust COA, and ensure GL architecture supports program goals, including a Lackland, TX project with remote work and travel.

Essential duties include GL leadership, COA design, stakeholder liaison, solution design, project support, and system optimization.

Qualifications

Hands-on implementation and configuration of Oracle EBS GL and SLA.
Experience leading two full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials implementations.
Strong COA design and GL architecture expertise.
US Citizenship with active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead GL/Financials discovery, requirements, and functional design.
Design, implement, and maintain Chart of Accounts (COA).
Serve as liaison between stakeholders and tech teams; translate needs into specs.
Oversee functional architecture for Oracle EBS financial solutions.
Collaborate with PMs, developers, and analysts to ensure timely delivery.
Identify and optimize financial system configurations for scalability and security.
