Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Oracle General Ledger Lead to drive the design, implementation, and success of Oracle E-Business Suite GL and core financial modules. The role requires expertise in COA design and SLAs, leading functional workstreams, and coordinating with stakeholders across IT and finance.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in Oracle EBS implementations, strong communication, and a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related fields.

Qualifications

• GL/Financials leadership for Oracle GL, SLA, and related modules.
• COA design expertise and scalable GL architecture.
• Two full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials implementations as a functional lead.
• Experience across AP, AR, FA and broader EBS Financials suite.
• Knowledge of RICEW components from a functional perspective.
• Translate complex business processes into technical solutions.
• US Citizen with an active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and success of Oracle EBS GL and SLA.
• Own COA design and ongoing maintenance to support scalability.
• Bridge business stakeholders and technical teams via workshops and specs.
• Oversee functional architecture and integration with enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with PMs, developers, and analysts to meet timelines.
• Assess configurations for security, reliability, and optimization.
