Job summary

SMX seeks an accomplished Oracle General Ledger Lead to drive the functional design, implementation, and success of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) General Ledger and core financial modules. The role leads the COA design and ensures GL architecture aligns with program goals.

This remote position requires travel and supports a key program at Lackland, TX. Ideal candidate has 12+ years in Oracle EBS implementations, with deep GL experience, including SLA, COA design, and full lifecycle leadership

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on expertise implementing, configuring, and leading Oracle EBS GL
• Experience leading two full lifecycle Oracle EBS Financials implementations
• Extensive experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets
• Strong understanding of Oracle RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows)
• Ability to translate complex business processes into technical solutions

Responsibilities

• GL/Financials Leadership as SME for Oracle GL, SLA, and related modules
• Lead COA design, implementation, and maintenance for scalability
• Coordinate discovery workshops and translate business needs into functional specs
• Create and oversee functional architecture for Oracle EBS financial solutions
• Collaborate with PMs, developers, and BAs to ensure on-time, quality deliverables
• Assess current configurations and ensure scalability and security of the solution
