Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Oracle General Ledger Lead to drive the functional design, implementation, and success of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) GL and core financial modules. This role leads the financial systems modernization for a key program at Lackland, TX and is remote with travel.

You will be the SME for GL, SLA, and related modules, shape the COA, and ensure integration with AP/AR/FA across two full lifecycle implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent).
• 12+ years of progressive Oracle EBS implementations experience.
• US Citizen with an active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead GL/Financials leadership across Oracle EBS modules (GL, SLA, AP, AR).
• Design, implement, and maintain COA; ensure scalability and security of solution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and tech teams; translate business needs into functional specs.
• Oversee functional architecture for Oracle EBS financial solutions and integration.
