Job summary

SMX seeks an accomplished Oracle General Ledger Lead to drive design, implementation, and success of Oracle EBS GL and core financial modules. The role requires expert Oracle Financials knowledge, COA design leadership, and experience guiding multi‑project ERP initiatives.

You will liaise with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure scalable, secure financial solutions. The position demands 12+ years in Oracle EBS, active Public Trust clearance, and a remote role with travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 12+ years of progressive Oracle EBS implementations experience.
• US Citizen with an active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead GL/Financials leadership for Oracle EBS GL, SLA and related modules.
• Design, implement, and maintain COA.
• Translate business needs into functional specs and act as escalation point.
• Oversee functional architecture for Oracle EBS financial solutions.
• Collaborate with PMs, developers, and BAs to ensure timely delivery.
• Assess and optimize existing financial configurations for scalability and security.
