Job summary

SMX is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to collect, document, and analyze business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, designing and implementing system solutions, testing, and providing functional support across cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and align the system with business objectives.

A clearance is required, and the role is remote with some travel.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust required
• Treasury and cash management implementation experience
• Deep understanding of accounting and LOA configuration
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and modules like Finance/Procurement
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field
• 10+ years of experience; postgraduate study may substitute for experience up to 36 credit hours
• Oracle EBS R12.2 experience

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for Oracle EBS configurations
• Translate business needs into functional specs and design system solutions
• Configure Oracle EBS modules to meet requirements and support projects
• Create test plans, scripts, and cases; perform functional testing and assist UAT
• Provide ongoing end-user support and coordinate resolutions with technical teams
• Bridge business and technical teams to ensure successful integration
• Analyze existing processes and identify Oracle EBS improvement opportunities
• Develop system and user documentation; deliver training to users
