Contact Government Services (CGS) is hiring a Senior Oracle APEX Developer to support a wide range of IT services for government clients. The role emphasizes full lifecycle development of Oracle Applications, APEX tooling, and integration with Oracle DB, BI Publisher, and web technologies.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, able to translate customer requirements into actionable IT solutions while working with limited supervision. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years experience, or equivalent; degree may be substituted by related experience/certs
• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance
• Experience with secure network programming in Oracle environment (certs, HTTPS)
• Experience with full lifecycle development of Oracle applications including APEX
• Experience with Oracle IDEs like Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer
• Experience with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting
• Experience with unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in Oracle
• Experience establishing goals and meeting project objectives
• Ability to write and maintain system documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork, Agile experience
• Customer interface experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle development of Oracle Applications using APEX
• Develop advanced Oracle APEX 4.0+ applications
• Utilize Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer for development
• Design dynamic web content with JQuery, Ajax, JS, CSS, HTML
• Create dynamic Oracle reports and manage BI Publisher templates
• Support Oracle database objects and unstructured data handling
• Support shell scripting with PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell
• Deliver enterprise workflow-centric applications
• Automate business processes with logical functions
