Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years within the last three years operating room scrubbing experience or equivalent military setting.
• Graduate of approved surgical technologist or military equivalent program.
• Maintains Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties.
• Sets up and organizes the surgical room and equipment.
• Identifies patient and scheduled procedure; reports findings to RN.
• Maintains sterile technique and safety standards throughout procedures.
• Transports equipment and specimens as needed within the unit.
• Communicates effectively with the healthcare team to ensure patient care quality.
