Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is recruiting an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Operating Room to lead and coordinate patient care during assigned shifts. You will supervise OR staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and partner with CNCs to optimize surgical procedures and scheduling.

The role requires RN licensure in Colorado, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 2+ years of acute care OR experience, with charge nurse experience preferred. A supportive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN licensure (state or multistate).
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS and PALS certification.
• BSN from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Two years acute care OR RN experience.
• Charge nurse/service coordinator experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care during shifts in collaboration with the management team.
• Coordinate all OR functions and supervise staff under the unit director's guidance.
• Ensure department compliance with state, federal, and regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate with CNCs to prepare surgical procedures and streamline the OR schedule.
• Verify accuracy of preference cards and OR schedule; liaise with surgery schedulers.
