Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking an Operating Room CVOR Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge RN) to lead an interdisciplinary OR team. You will oversee direction and coordination of OR functions on assigned shifts, ensure patient care quality, and supervise staff while liaising with surgeons and vendors.

You will verify schedules, manage preference cards, and support performance evaluations, coaching, and staffing. This role requires call coverage and active CVOR experience in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Two years' acute care OR RN experience.
• Previous CVOR experience required.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all functions in the OR on assigned shifts.
• Supervise staff, conduct evaluations, and provide coaching and counseling.
• Ensure department compliance with state, federal, and healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with surgeons and team members to prepare procedures.
• Verify OR schedule and preference cards; coordinate scheduling flow.
• Handle call duties as required.
