Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience in a relevant field.
• 2+ years Multiphysics Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
• PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Active U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
• Experience with STOP/ SWAP optimization.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiphysics FEA on complex opto‑mechanical components and systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to define requirements and evaluate designs.
• Convert CAD models into analyzable solutions and drive design improvements.
• Document work through project and configuration management tools.
• Support structural, thermal, optical, fluid, vibration and controls analyses.
