Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years performing multiphysical finite element analysis in a professional setting.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or related technical field.
• U.S. DoD Personnel Security Clearance required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis on opto-mechanical systems using finite element analysis, analytical approaches, and numeric methods.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and scientists across disciplines to define requirements, constraints, and analysis goals.
• Translate CAD models into analyzable forms and iterate designs toward optimal solutions.
• Utilize project and configuration management tools to track and document tasks.
