• Specialized Experience Requirement: at least 1 year performing duties similar to Supervisory Health Tech (Opticians).
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office; ability to learn new Optical Contractor/DoD systems (DOS-based).
• Ability to review prescriptions, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Skill in measuring and verifying lens placement within frames to meet tolerances.
• Ability to select lens types/positions to meet patient vision needs and comfort.
• Identify and resolve optical issues such as prescription verification, frame choices, and alignment.
• REAL ID is required to work with Veterans Canteen Service.

Responsabilidades

• Greets customers, guides eyewear pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
• Oversees Optician staff and daily operations; performance oversight.
• Distributes workload and monitors task completion for efficiency.
• Assists customers with frame selection and product knowledge on frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Performs eyewear measurements, fittings, adjustments, and basic repairs; documents services in CPRS.
• Manages customer communications and coordinates follow-up actions to resolve requests.
