Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) seeks an experienced Supervisory Health Tech (Opticians) to support the Optical Shop at the Dallas VA Medical Center. The role coordinates optical operations and serves as a key liaison between VCS, eye clinic providers, and prosthetics teams.

Formación

• One year of specialized experience performing the duties of Supervisory Health Tech (Opticians) or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn software used by the Optical Contractor and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Ability to review optical prescriptions for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Skill in measuring and verifying proper lens placement within spectacle frames.
• Ability to select and match lens types to meet patient vision requirements.
• Ability to identify and resolve optical issues including prescription verification and improper frame selections.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate optical operations within the Optical Shop at the Dallas VA Medical Center.
