Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through the Visionworks journey with a focus on eyewear fitting and customer service.

You will drive sales, engage customers, and maintain up-to-date optical knowledge, while supporting daily store operations and training programs to ensure first-time right eyewear choices.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear isRight the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship
