Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through their eyewear journey with a friendly, human touch.

You will apply optical product knowledge, drive daily sales goals, and manage in-store operations from merchandising to order fulfillment, ensuring customers leave with Right the First Time eyewear. The role requires engagement with customers, recommending products and services that meet eye care needs, and maintaining ongoing product

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product knowledge through cont. training.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment.
