Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of the store and guide customers through the Visionworks experience. You will apply optical knowledge to match eyewear with patient needs and drive daily sales goals.

You will engage with patients, recommend products, and stay current on eyewear options, training, and service quality to ensure Right the First Time eyewear. This role includes store operations and customer experience responsibility.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience is preferred but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engages with patients/customers and recommends products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measures patients/customers for their eyewear and maintains product/optical knowledge through continuing training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
• Executes day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship.
