Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Senior Operations Management Trainee to join an advanced leadership development program with nationwide travel and relocation upon program completion. You will rotate through plasma centers, develop leadership skills, and aim for a Plasma Center Operations Manager role.

You’ll learn hands-on in a fast-paced environment, manage teams, and advance toward opening and operating new plasma centers across the country, with mentorship and structured training

Qualifications

• Relocation required after trainee program.
• 3–5 years leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports).
• Up to 90–100% travel during the Trainee Program.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to travel and work at various BioLife locations across the country.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Have a valid driver’s license for the entire duration of the program.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.

Responsibilities

• Complete six-month expedited training; 12 months to Plasma Center Manager.
• Manage teams, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, recruit and develop staff.
• Progress to Plasma Center Operations Manager and help open new centers.
• Supportive team environment with operational training and problem-solving.
• Retain donors by delivering excellent service and assisting production.
• Travel nationwide and network with BioLife teams.
