Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Senior Reconditioning Leader to oversee multiple reconditioning lines and plan production for a full shift. The role requires relocating after training and leading a large team to meet targets in production, cost, and quality.

You will drive bottleneck reduction, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement action plans with site leadership. The position emphasizes growth, safety, and continuous improvement within a dynamic automotive environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team of 50+ associates.
• Proven ability to solve urgent operational challenges via root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple reconditioning lines and plan production for a full shift.
• Manage facilities to meet targets in production, cost, and quality when leadership is not onsite.
• Identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions with leadership.
• Conduct weekly site performance reviews with Senior Reconditioning leadership and report on targets and countermeasures.
• Guide daily site manager huddles to set tone and priorities for the day.
• Support Continuous Improvement projects and training of process changes across site/region.
• Foster growth through Development Plans and regular competency feedback for Reconditioning teams.
• Demonstrate Carvana values on the shop floor and uphold operating standards.
• Ensure health, safety and loss prevention guidelines are followed.
