Job summary

Carvana in Dallas seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee multiple reconditioning lines, plan production for full shifts, and drive targets in production, cost, and quality when leadership is offsite.

You will identify bottlenecks, perform root-cause analysis, and develop action plans with the site leadership team while guiding daily huddles and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the region.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team of 50+ associates and developing employees.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis to solve urgent operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple reconditioning lines and plan production for a full shift.
• Manage facilities to meet targets in production, cost, and quality when GM is not onsite.
• Identify bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions with site leadership.
• Lead weekly site performance reviews and report on performance vs targets.
• Guide daily site manager huddles to set tone and priorities.
• Support Continuous Improvement projects across the region/network and train process changes.
• Foster growth and development in Reconditioning leadership and ensure safety standards.
