Job summary

Carvana is seeking a senior leader to oversee multiple reconditioning lines within the Inspection & Reconditioning Center, ensuring production metrics are met. The role requires relocation after training and nationwide or regional relocation.

You will manage facilities, address bottlenecks, conduct root-cause analysis, and lead weekly performance reviews with senior leadership, driving continuous improvement and development of the Reconditioning team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Ability to lead a team of over 50 associates and develop employees.
• Proven ability to solve urgent operational challenges through root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to set priorities on the shop floor.
• Must be open to relocation after training and read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple reconditioning lines, planning production for a full shift.
• Manage facilities to meet targets in production, cost, and quality when leadership is not onsite.
• Identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and implement action plans with site leadership.
• Conduct weekly site performance reviews and report on targets, challenges, and countermeasures.
• Guide daily manager huddles to establish tone and priorities.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement projects across the region and train changes.
• Support development plans and give regular feedback to leadership tiers.
