Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock clinic examination rooms; ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Order, date, and replace medications; report non-working equipment.
• Maintain evaluation and management forms and other medical forms for physicians.
• Log patient arrival times on the daily schedule to ensure all patients are accounted for.
• Prepare pre-op and post-op patients, including those with special needs.
• Inform patients about current clinical studies and common procedures.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, patients, registration, HIM, and Financial/Billing offices.
• Advise physicians and managers on improvements to patient flow.
• Sanitize rooms between patients and plan room assignments to reduce delays.
