Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a startup manufacturing facility. The role requires hands-on leadership to ensure safety, quality, and productivity across first and second shifts.

You will manage machine setups, troubleshoot defects, mentor operators, and coordinate with maintenance and tooling to drive continuous improvement as the plant scales.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of progressive experience in injection molding operations with troubleshooting and mold changes.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience in production settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.
• Experience supporting startups or new manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred; hands-on experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily injection molding operations, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and efficiency goals are met.
• Provide direction, training, and technical support to production personnel across assigned operations.
• Oversee machine setups, startups, mold changes, and equipment changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Monitor production performance, cycle times, material usage, and process consistency.
• Support SOP development and continuous improvement initiatives within the startup facility.
