Job summary
Grand Rapids Public Utilities (GRPU) is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of the Utility’s electric distribution, water treatment and distribution, and wastewater systems. Qualifications
- Ten years of progressively responsible experience in project management, engineering and construction, utility operations, infrastructure management, or related field.
- At least five years supervising and leading employees with increasing responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Plans and supervises personnel responsible for operations and maintenance of electric distribution, water treatment and distribution, and wastewater systems.
- Prepares and manages operational and capital budgets and provides reports and presentations.
- Assists General Manager with administration, organizational planning, and coordination across Utility functions.
