Job summary

The Company in Michigan seeks a Project Manager, Utilities to lead utility infrastructure and capital improvement initiatives from planning through construction and commissioning. You will oversee scope, budget, schedule, procurement, design, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful delivery.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years in project leadership, with strong communication and team-collaboration skills to drive cross-functional work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with project management or leadership roles.
  • Experience managing utility, energy, infrastructure, industrial, or facility projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, contract administration, and construction management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage utility and infrastructure projects from concept through construction and commissioning.
  • Drive capital projects to meet scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, procurement, contractors, and client stakeholders.
  • Oversee design reviews, bid processes, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Manage annual sustaining capital and maintenance projects.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and updates for management and stakeholders.
