Job summary

ESFM is the corporate facilities management (FM) division of Compass Group USA. The Senior Operations Manager will be in charge of planning, evaluating, implementing and reporting on departmental operations.

The role provides assistance in oversight of business activities, strategic planning, and program administration. This position requires supervision of the unit, input on strategic plans, policy development, staying current with field developments, fiscal oversight, cost-control initiatives,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
3+ years operations experience; Finance experience a plus
Strong project management skills a must
Excellent communication and organization skills
Able to travel up to 35% and overnight as needed

Responsibilities

Directly supervise and maintain responsibility for their unit within the department
Provide input in managing strategic plans and development of integrated programs
Advise with developing and implementing new policies or revisions
Stay abreast of developments in the field and participate in training
Provide fiscal oversight and financial reporting to senior leadership
Evaluate cost control and seek ways to reduce labor/material costs
Serve as departmental liaison to customers
Perform other duties as assigned
