Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is hiring a Senior Facility Manager in Kansas City, MO to lead operations, build client relationships, and drive service excellence. You will oversee staffing, budgets, and compliance while maximizing profitability and ensuring top-tier customer service across all facilities.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a team.
• Strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems quickly, while adhering to policies.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel or Google Docs/Sheets.
• Experience developing budgets and reviewing P&L is a plus.
• Parking management experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver premier customer service to clients and hire/train frontline staff.
• Maximize profitability through revenue development and expense reviews.
• Manage budgeting, vendor relations, procurements, and accounts/payroll tasks.
• Oversee workforce management and performance, with coaching where needed.
• Ensure client retention, address requests diplomatically, and monitor facility condition.
• Assist in marketing/revenue optimization and maintain safety/risk policies.
