Job summary

New Energy Equity in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Operations to own onboarding, vendor management, and compliance for ESS O&M and Special Projects, bridging leadership, field operations, and clients. You will run client onboarding, vendor qualification, and training programs, ensure accurate contract and billing records, and support leadership with cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business operations or similar multi-functional roles.
• Salesforce experience for data entry and record management.
• Strong attention to detail with contracts, pricing, and compliance docs.
• Ability to juggle multiple workstreams across fleet, billing, onboarding, training, and events.
• Excellent communication with leadership, field teams, and vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; comfortable with fleet and expense platforms (e.g., WEX).
• Experience in field services, energy, construction, or O&M environments a plus.
• Event planning experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead client onboarding and contract administration for O&M and Special Projects.
• Define vendor onboarding requirements including insurance, licensing, tax docs.
• Ensure vendor records and pricing are set up in Salesforce and accounting systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional onboarding with Operations, Accounting, and Client Relations.
• Develop and maintain onboarding checklists, SOPs, and audits.
• Oversee training programs and new hire onboarding logistics.
