Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Summerville, SC, is seeking an Operations Manager to guide day-to-day site operations, including warehousing, receiving and shipping, with emphasis on safety, cost objectives, and SLA adherence.

This role leads inbound/outbound planning, staffing, performance reviews, and cross-functional collaboration with customers and management to sustain continuous improvement and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution or relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse in varying seasons.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehousing, receiving, and shipping in a safe, cost-efficient manner.
• Plan inbound and outbound volume; manage space, equipment, and resources.
• Meet client KPIs and adhere to quality systems and SOPs.
• Lead hiring, training, and performance evaluation; drive HR activities.
• Coordinate with HR and management to promote staff development and engagement.
