Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Senior Operations Manager (Operations Manager I) to oversee warehouse operations across our network in the United States. The role emphasizes leadership of Supervisors and indirect reports, development of efficient workflows, and a strong focus on safety, cost reduction, and KPI-driven improvements.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years in management, and 1+ year in logistics, with P&L experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience required.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, and standardized processes to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety across the site.
• Prepare reports on KPIs, productivity and accuracy to inform decisions and drive improvements.
• Maintain open communication with leadership and associates to promote transparency and teamwork.
• Collaborate with HR and site leadership on the hiring process for Supervisors.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with customers to address concerns and enhance service levels.
