Job summary

Wesco seeks a Senior Manager – Operations for a new facility in Houston. You will oversee construction and staffing, manage multiple priorities, and lead a diverse team including Operations Associates, Drivers and Administrative Coordinators.

You will drive order fulfilment, problem resolution, and KPI tracking to ensure top service quality. You will work with Sales and other departments, enforce ISO 9000 controls, and maintain a safe and inclusive workplace while controlling costs and improving

Qualifications

High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
7+ years’ operations experience, specifically in distribution center facilities preferred.
Experience managing a group or team of individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Ability to travel 0-25% of the time.

Responsibilities

Oversees location operations including on time order fulfillment and shipping, and on time receiving.
Manage multiple warehouse systems and locations, and value-added services.
Maintain safe, secure, and inclusive workplace; coach, hire and train staff.
Ensure compliance with policies, internal controls, and audit standards (e.g. ISO 9000).
Manage P&L to plan and drive efficiencies with LEAN methodologies.
Coordinate with Sales and other departments to align with market strategy.
