Job summary

Wesco in Houston is seeking a Senior Manager – Operations to oversee construction and staffing for a new facility. You will lead a diverse team including Operations Associates, Drivers and Administrative Coordinators, while coordinating with Sales and other departments to ensure excellent order fulfilment and service.

You will monitor KPIs, drive LEAN improvements, manage a location's P&L, enforce safety, and develop budgets.

Qualifications

• Requires 7+ years of operations experience, preferably in distribution/warehousing.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience managing a team or group of individual contributors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the location(s) including on‑time order fulfillment and shipping.
• Manage multiple warehouses and customer value-added services as needed.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive workplace and coach/mentor staff.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards.
• Manage a location's P&L and drive LEAN improvements.
• Coordinate with Sales and other departments to align market strategy.
• Oversee maintenance of facility and equipment; manage budgets.
