Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Senior Operations Management Trainee to join an advanced leadership program across plasma centers nationwide. You’ll rotate through roles, travel up to 95% of the time, and prepare for accelerated career growth, including relocation to a Plasma Center Operations Manager position.

You’ll gain hands-on leadership experience, mentorship, and exposure to high-volume operations, with a focus on developing critical management skills and donor service excellence.

Qualifications

• Relocation required upon graduation/completion of Trainee Program.
• 3-5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports).
• Up to 90-100% travel during the Trainee Program.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to travel and work at various BioLife locations across the country.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Have a valid driver’s license for the entire duration of the program.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.

Responsibilities

• Continuous Learning & Development: six months of training; then 12 months to obtain Plasma Center Manager; hands-on experience with a learning plan.
• Team Management: motivate a diverse team, provide employee feedback, conduct performance reviews, participate in staff planning and recruiting.
• Career Advancement: progress to Plasma Center Operations Manager; opportunities to open new plasma centers.
• Supportive Teamwork: work in a fast-paced team environment, provide operational support, problem-solve, communicate with senior management.
• Exceptional Customer Service: retain donors and assist with production as needed.
• Travel Opportunities: learn from BioLife team members across the country; return home every other weekend.
