Job summary

Vyper Industrial is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day execution across planning, purchasing, warehouse, inventory and shipping, reporting to the Director of Operations to align with company goals.

You will manage and develop the Warehouse Manager, Buyer/Procurement Specialist, and Operations Planner, ensuring staffing, material availability, KPI targets, and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive operations leadership in manufacturing and/or warehouse/distribution environments.
• Experience directly leading supervisors, managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of inventory, purchasing, production planning, scheduling, warehousing/fulfillment, and process improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to use KPIs and data to drive accountability and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily operational execution across planning, purchasing, warehouse, inventory, and shipping.
• Manage and support the Warehouse Manager, Buyer/Procurement Specialist, and Operations Planner/Project Coordinator.
• Hold department leaders accountable for staffing, scheduling, material availability, inventory performance, shipping, and priorities.
• Ensure alignment on purchasing, forward planning, and daily execution.
• Monitor operational KPIs and drive corrective actions when performance lags.
• Resolve routine issues and escalate risks to the Director of Operations.
• Drive improvements and process changes in partnership with the Director of Operations.
• Ensure policies, ERP/WMS processes, and safety standards are followed.
• Support employee development, performance management, and hiring needs across Operations.
• Coordinate across departments to support company needs.
• Assist with capacity planning, systems implementation, and large initiatives.
