Job summary

Hyve Solutions, a Hyve division part of Synnex Corporation, is seeking an Operations Manager I to oversee daily warehouse operations and drive efficiency. You will schedule work, manage an operations team, and contribute to long-range planning while ensuring policy adherence and safety standards.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and budgeting skills, with experience in distribution/logistics and hands-on supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in a Distribution/Logistics/Warehouse environment and at least three years’ staff management.
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics or related discipline preferred.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• First-Aid or CPR certification would be an asset.
• Advanced MS Office skills; proficient in Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Experience with order entry and fulfillment systems; inventory cycle counts; process improvement.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a medium-sized warehouse.
• Schedule and delegate work for the operations team.
• Drive long-range strategic planning for Operations by overseeing manufacturing activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures and material control systems.
• Coordinate training and performance reviews for Operations staff.
