Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee multiple facility shifts and drive efficiency and profitability. You will implement policies, manage budgets, and coordinate Kaizen and safety initiatives while supporting customer onboarding and service levels.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years in logistics management, with strong leadership and budgeting capabilities across diverse teams and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college; highly preferred.
• 7–10 years related experience at management level in logistics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer company policies, budgets and long-range goals.
• Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, labor plans and forecast data.
• Analyze department budget and allocate operating budget; support financial reporting.
• Plan, budget and schedule facilities modifications including cost estimates and contracts.
• Establish procedures for shipments, materials handling and inventory control.
• Advance safety and Kaizen initiatives to improve operations.
• Interface with customers to ensure satisfaction and assist in onboarding.
• Provide consultation and analyses for contract negotiations.
• Lead special projects and supervise 3+ shifts.
