Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate material handlers in a busy warehouse environment in California. The role requires directing a small team, ensuring efficient use of labor, and maintaining safety standards as forklifts, pallets, and conveyors are used daily.

The position entails enforcing work schedules, training staff, and supporting production goals while adhering to all company policies and safety rules. OT may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material handlers to ensure time is used efficiently and production standards are met.
• Coordinate flow of product with management and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Enforce schedules and labor hours for daily tasks.
• Report compliance with standards and initiatives.
• Participate in Kaizen activities to improve operations.
• Oversee small team in the warehouse area and assign work.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of the work area.
