Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Americas) is looking for an experienced logistics supervisor to lead a 24/7 warehouse operation in California. You will oversee scheduling, unloading, processing and loading of freight, ensuring safe, timely and cost-effective shipments to customer locations.

The role requires managing labor, budgets and training programs while upholding company policies and customer expectations. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in high-volume environments, excellent communication

Qualifications

• Eight years of supervisory or managerial experience in a high-volume warehouse or similar environment.
• Experience with operating budgets and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, unloading, processing, loading and shipping of freight.
• Manage labor utilization to meet productivity objectives and KPIs.
• Develop training programs with HR, temporary agencies and Safety Management.
