Job summary

Yusen Logistics Americas Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse operations in Fullerton, CA.

You will manage scheduling, unloading, processing and loading activities to ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective freight movement for customers. The role emphasizes driving productivity, staff development, and adherence to SOPs, with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Eight years of supervisory or managerial experience in a high-volume warehouse or similar environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer literacy with MS Office Suite; prior experience with WMS/YMS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24/7 safe, efficient operation of scheduling, unloading, processing and shipping of freight.
• Oversee customer relationships and meet LOS and KPI requirements including timely, damage-free shipments.
• Plan and optimize labor to achieve productivity targets and budgetary goals.
• Recruit, train and develop subordinates; manage performance and recognition programs.
• Establish SOPs and kaizen activities to improve efficiency and ROI.
